Puff puff give

Back in the day... if you were caught with just a bankie of weed you were arrested or put in holding cells for the weekend. 

A lotta time has passed and now the rules and restrictions around Marijuana have loosened. I'm still not sure if it's totally legal in South Africa but I know you can smoke within your own yard/enclosed area. This is still a long way to go in comparison to other countries that even have weed shops. 

The kids today don't know the struggle of trynna find a spot to smoke so that you can hide form the cops and the elders... eish, what a mission. Anyway... c'mon baby, light my fire. Enjoy your blunt 🫠

 

Change... the only thing constant

 

Change really is the only thing constant. 

Whether I'm in a tie or just have my hair down; one thing I understand is that the physical changes, however the inner remains the same.

40 something

 

This year is the year I turned 40.

The day was chilled and laid back. I was with my friends & we had good music and were very chilled as they properly welcomed me into the 40's... believe it or not, I'm one of the young one's. 

Looking back on all the years that I was looking forward and entacipating the famous 40... I realize that it ain't no thang. I always imagined 40 years to be so old. However, I'm not gonna start dressing like an old man, behaving like one and talking like one. I gotta stay young... especially cos I'm young at heart.
