Being Fourty year old

Just in case you're thinking of being forever young. Good luck_ I say good luck because when reality strikes, there'll be a subscription for Facebook* 

Now do I think that will happen? Hell no. But that's just an exaggerated maybe as to how difficult life would be without access to your favorite platform... mainly because it's so user friendly. So... if you don't grow up... you'll never earn an honest living. But, just like the title says: being fourty means appreciating all the little things in life. I may be fourty, but I still miss my Mama when I'm away, when I can't sleep or even cook lol So the term Forever Young is being too loosely used... you are young at heart but reality should never escape you.

I'm a week into my 40s and already I feel so blessed.

 Inspiration 

Waking up in the morning is inspirational. You get to try what drives you with a fresh and (hopefully) a better perspective. 

I'm turning 40 this year... next week actually, on the 11th (of March): shout out. What I've come to realize is that your future really does lie in your hands. You need to respect your elders so your days can be longer. There's always a lot of voices that will whisper opportunities of silver and gold... I ignore them; cos I know wisdom is better than silver and gold! Listen to yourself first, then you can respond to the noise in the world. 

Some may try to erase my face... but millions like me will surface. So, in actuality, you are your own boss. Keep your head up and grow 🌻
