the most exciting thing is meeting someone that makes you feel jealous of everything and everyone that knows them, someone that makes you feel like seeing them every minute of every day.  This jealousy should never be unpleasant.

everyday, we meet a lot of people, make sure that when someone meets you, they get that jealous feeling about everything around you, because they want to be a part of YOUR life...

you'll never know, that could be the love of your life.

Slavery: mind over matter!

Living in today's society can be tough if you are not grounded nor strong enough to be who you are.

The main stem that will determine the type of person that you are starts in the house hold...at home.  Your parents will teach you what's good and what's bad.  They will teach you right from wrong.  Going out into the world and having choices does NOT mean that you need to rebel and deliberately do the wrong or inappropriate thing.  Do what will fit in the societal norm, but do it according to your own rules.  Do it so that you can be unique in your choice and not have to conform to what you are told by the magazines and or the media.  The media influences you a lot; but guess what?!  Without you the consumer the big bad media would not exist.  You are the fuel in the funnel.  You, dear reader are the food that feeds the belly of the media; so without YOUR opinion and your influence: by the clothes that you wear, the lingo that you speak, the trends that you follow...the media will not be able to have a target audience.

So you see my friend, when they tell you not to wear a pink shirt because you're a 30 year old man living in the township...turn around and say: I WILL!  When they tell you that wearing flat shoes to Sandton as a girl is unfashionable: walk that walk girl and show them you got swag.  So basically, what I'm saying here is: free yourself from mental slavery, [because] none other can free your mind.

Think out loud, speak up when you're in a group.  Have an opinion, it is what makes it YOUR own opinion, and ultimately, it is what makes you...YOU!:

I think this is just so darned cool.  I wouldn't mind having this bed situation in my room.  It looks stylish, it is modern and I love the colour scheme.  I definitely dig!!

This is a very interest art piece that I uploaded from a website (thank you internet). 
It is a "drawing" that was done totally with a fine pen.  The medium is used by many people that enjoy creating art pieces without having to actually "draw".  The process takes quite a long time because you have to be precise with your dots and make sure that it brings to fruition an actual finished work piece.  When beginning the process, you would normally begin by drawing an outline of the work that you want to draw and then finish it off by filling it with the dots using a fine pen.

Most artists don't believe in using tipex (or an eraser for that matter), so if you come across a mistake, you'd have to continue and make it work...there is no mistake in art...just process.

I wish I had done this piece, but the fine pen piece that I had done, I gave away.  None-the-less, I just wanted to share this with you and spread inspiration for those that are interested in making art in one form or another.

Don't ever stop making art and creating if you are into art, if anything, keep fine tuning your work and keep mastering it until you become a guru at what you do.

Arrested Development - Everyday People (HQ Quality Uncensored)

 I was in primary school when I first knew about this band, Arrested Development.  I bought their cd and I lost the cd, and then one day I was shopping around in one of those antique shops and lo and behold, I saw the Arrested Development cd again.  I didn't even hesitate and I just bought it.  I treasure it.  These guys gave me my love for dreadlocks. my love for "discovering" depth rather than just taking things at face value.  And now that I "get" the lyrics more profoundly...I fall in love with them over and over again when I listen to them.

Okay, so some of ya'll checkin this post out might just be wondering...what is Sebokeng? Well, the more appropriate question to ask would be: where is Sebokeng?

 

Sebokeng is based just South of Johannesburg.  When you just pass Walkervilled from Johannesburg, you get the Vaal, and the Vaal has a lot of areas.  I live in Sebokeng, and love the vibe here.  A lot of people that live here know each other, are cool with each other and to simply put it...we vibe well in Sebokeng.

 

Anyway, a friend of mine designs and sells these T-shirts.  They represent hoodlove, they represent the culture that is Sebokeng, they represent the vibe that is Sebokeng and they represent the us...
